COST: £85.00 per 40- to 45-minute session (or £120.00 per hour)
An individual therapy session typically lasts 40-45 minutes – a designated member of staff (parent if child is home-schooled) must attend all sessions with the child, and is expected to carry out any follow-up activities as advised by the SLT. The main bulk of the session time (approximately 35 minutes) will be spent working directly with the child, and the rest is for feedback and briefing to the attending staff (parent if child is home-schooled) on follow-up activities between sessions.
COST: £135.00 per 40- to 45-minute session
A small group therapy session typically lasts 40-45 minutes – a designated member of staff must attend all sessions, and is expected to carry out any follow-up activities as advised by the SLT. The main bulk of the session time will be spent working directly with the children, and the rest is for setting up, feedback and briefing to the attending staff on follow-up activities between sessions. Small group therapy sessions are charged at £150 per 40- to 45-minute session.
Small group therapy is offered to up to 3 children in a group, provided that all the children to be included are functioning at similar levels and have similar needs in terms of targets for therapy, and can potentially function together as a group, with adult support. For consistency and stable group dynamics, membership in the group must remain the same for the duration of the agreed period through which the group sessions are to be provided for the children in that group.

The number of children to be included in a group must not exceed 6.
COST: £30.00-60.00 per week per programme per child, or £60.00-120.00 per week per programme for a group of up to 6
A short, time-limited follow-up programme for implementation by school staff can be provided (material not included except for samples for illustration purpose), by school/parent’s request, or as specified in the child/children's EHCP(s), before the completion of a therapy block (usually end of half-term or term, or end of a block of pre-agreed number of sessions) for the child or group. This must be requested before the end of a therapy block. Programme for an individual will be charged at £30.00 per week's worth, or £60.00 per week's worth with material provided (10-15 minutes per day; 5 days a week). Programme for a group of up to 6 children is charge at £50.00 per week's worth, or £100.00 per week's worth with material provided. The children covered in the group programme must be the same children in the group therapy sessions. (15-20 minutes per day; 5 days a week)
Expressed parental consent for each child must be sought and confirmed by the school for the programme to be shared with school. For individual programme, a copy of the programme will be sent to the child/children’s parent/s as a matter of course.
COST: £300.00 per report per child (£340.00 per report per child if requested within 1 month after end of a block) + £80.00 per child PLP targets
A short progress report can be provided, by school’s request made before the completion of a therapy block (usually end of half-term or term, or end of a block of pre-agreed number of sessions), and is charged at £300.00 per report per child. (This is not an assessment or EHCP report, which are offered as separate packages). The report will provide a summary of therapy provided, progress made and recommendation on helpful strategies. Specific written targets (typically for a half-term) can be provided at an extra cost of £80.00 per set per child.
Progress report/s can also be requested no more than 1 month after the end of a therapy block, but this will be charged at £360 per report per child. (Cases that have had no contact for 1 month or more are closed, and no report will be provided without an assessment be conducted, which will be charged as an assessment package)
Expressed parental consent must be sought and confirmed by the school for the report/s to be shared with school. A copy of the report will be sent to the child/ren’s parent/s as a matter of course.
By commissioning the SLT’s service, both the school and the comissioning organisation (e.g. school or local authority) enter into a contractual agreement with the SLT. All parties will abide by the terms and conditions of the SLT’s service, as laid out on the CommuniAction.uk website, including any updates to these terms and conditions.
