Consultation & Meetings

This is a consultation-only service, and does not include face-to-face contact or direct work with the child.  

Consultation is provided at a cost of £100.00 per hour if done via video conferencing.  In-person meetings on the premises are charged at £120.00 per hour.  Minimum booking for a meeting is 1 hour, and by increments of 15 minutes thereafter.  The session will be charged according to the actual time spent  The invoice will be issued after the session and full payment is due upon receipt.

Consultation is provided for the following purposes (list is not exhaustive):

For children active on the SLT's caseload:

• EHCP review meeting for a child 
• Programme/target review meeting for a child
• Meeting with school and/or parents to discuss a child's needs

For school:

• Advice and support to school to implement school-wide supportive strategies/systems to meet the needs of pupils with ASD/Social Communication Disorders
• General management/planning for a number of children all of whom are active on the SLT's caseload

By commissioning the SLT’s service, both the school and the comissioning organisation (e.g. school or local authority) enter into a contractual agreement with the SLT, and all parties will abide by the terms and conditions of the SLT’s service, as laid out on the CommuniAction.uk website, including any updates to these terms and conditions.

These terms and conditions are subject to periodical review and update without prior notice, and are posted on the CommuniAction.uk website.  Service users/commissioners are advised to check the website at intervals to stay up-to-date of any change in the the terms and conditions of the SLT’s service.
