Therapy Blocks

A single therapy session is typically 40-45 minutes, to  include time working directly with your child and time for discussion and briefing with you, and is charged at £85.00.  Longer sessions can be arranged and is charged at £120.00 per hour pro rata (15-min increments beyond the first hour).

A block discount applies if 4 or more sessions are booked together as one therapy block (Sessions must be weekly or more frequent for discount to apply. The base frequency of sessions cannot be changed before the end of a block). The number of sessions in each therapy block will vary according to the nature of the input and the need of your child.  Further therapy sessions can be booked at the end of a therapy block.  Typical therapy blocks after discount are illustrated as follows:

Block of 4 therapy sessions (40-45 minutes each session) = £323.00 (£80.75 per session); full payment required at the start of the block (Cost without discount would have been £340.00)

Block of 8 therapy sessions (40-45 minutes each session) = £ 612.00 (£76.50 per session); payment can be made in 2 instalments (£306.00 each instalment) at the start and halfway through the block (Cost without discount would have been £680.00)

Please note sessions prepaid as part of a discounted block are non-refundable, as the discount is conditional upon the number of sessions booked together.

A short, time-limited follow-up programme for home or school can be provided, by your request, upon completion of a therapy block for your child.  This must be requested before the end of a therapy block, and will be charged at £30.00 per week's worth.  Programmes with material provided will be charged at a rate of £60.00 per week's worth. (10-15mins per day, 5 days per week)

A short progress report can be provided, by your request before the completion of a therapy block, and is charged at £300.00 (£380.00 for a report with PLP targets for school/nursery).  Alternatively, you can request a progress report up to 1 month after the completion of a therapy block, but this will be charged at £360.00 (£440.00 for a report including targets for school/nursery).  Cases that have had no contact for 1 month or more are closed, and no report will be provided without an assessment be conducted, which will be charged as an assessment package.

I will advise and agree with you the most suitable therapy block for your child.  This may be an established therapy package e.g. Pre-Interaction Skills Therapy**, or a package designed individually for your child to target specific skills.
