Email & Text Messaging Security

Please be aware that web-based email servers, e.g. Gmail, Hotmail, Yahoo, etc are not secure, so please take precaution to ensure confidentiality, for the protection of your child.  The same principle applies for text messaging.

If you are a user of Egress Switch, which is a secure gateway for email communication, it is highly recommended that you send emails to me via Egress.  To register for a free Egress Switch account, click here (this will take you to a different website).  As I am a paid licence user of Egress, it is free for you to email me via Egress.

Please use only initials to refer to your child.  DO NOT  include in the subject line or the body of the email your child's name, or date of birth, or any information that would specifically identify your child.

Please DO NOT  send me any report, programme, care plan, etc. at this stage (as these contain specific and sensitive information about your child).  I will request those from you as needed and arrange with you a secure way of sharing such information.

Please include in your email a short summary of the service you require, e.g. assessment, or therapy, or a consultation.  Please leave me a phone number I can contact you on, and your name that you would like me to address you by.

Once I have received your email, I will contact you by phone to discuss how I may be of help to your child and you, and we can make further plans from there.
